You may save this entire (huge) file by right click on the yellow "Entire Memorial Service" and then click either "Save Target As" or "Save Link As" (depending on your browser). This would be advised if you are sure you want to continue to be able to listen to this after the website has been removed.

On the lighter side, those of you that were fortunate enough to make the drive to Bob’s final resting place, will likely never forget how the funeral cops led us all down Whittier Blvd east of Harbor Blvd to a point where there was a road closure (A Dead End).
Being in the lead car, we got to watch these funeral cops deal with their lack of proper preparation. One of them was heard saying “Why would they close this road”. After a minute or so they decided that the caravan needed to do a U-Turn. We were all laughing as we waved at all of those that that were following us through this totally appropriate trip for my Dad’s last ride. We were pleased to find that there was no extra charge for this unplanned fun.
I am eternally grateful that my Mom (Pauline) did not heed my suggestion to have us lead the caravan with 40 motor homes, otherwise, we’d still be trying to make the U-Turn.
If you have a story about my Dad that we may not know, please send it to sbartosch@verizon.net or majortom@gte.net. Please put "Bob Bartosch" as the subject so it does not get removed by my spam program. Feel free to say anything here. Nothing would be posted without your approval.
Please continue to send testimonials of what he meant to you to info@overcomersoutreach.org
